It’s famous for Vardzia, a sprawling cave monastery dating to the 12th century, and the ancient wine-growing region Kakheti. The capital, Tbilisi, is known for the diverse architecture and mazelike, cobblestone streets of its old town.

Itineraries

Day 1 - Arrival at Shota Rustaveli international airport, you will be welcomed by a representative of our company and transferred by a comfortable car to the hotel. Check in. Free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 2 - Breakfast at the hotel. Departure 10:00. Your tour will start off with Old Tbilisi, part of the town unique for its medieval structure and architecture. Must see locations are: Metekhi Church – Dating back to the 12th century, this place has a breathtaking panorama view of the old town Europe Square - an interesting and modern take on the old parts of the city Bridge of Peace – modern architecture turned into a symbol of the town Mother of Kartli – monument symbolizing the nature of the country and the women of Georgia Narikala Castle - ancient fortress overlooking the historic part of the town Sulfuric baths - Historic bathhouses with pools of hot, sulfur-rich water, with optional private rooms & massage. Mosque and Synagogue – one of the oldest structures in Old Tbilisi, outlining the Georgian tolerance The Holy Trinity Cathedral (Sameba) - Largest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral in Georgia and third largest religious monument in Europe. After Tbilisi, you will visit the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta, one of the oldest cities that has become a UNESCO World Site heritage back in 1994. Jvari Monastery temple of the VI century with the oldest architecture. The place where the missionary St. Nino herself erected a cross. From here you can see the beautiful panorama of Mtskheta Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - burial site of the Christ’s mantle and a monument of the 11th century. Return to the hotel. Free time Overnight stay in Tbilisi. Day 3 - After breakfast at the hotel you will be provided with a comfortable car towards the airport, with pleasant memories of the most beautiful places in Georgia.
